This milk is everything I love in modern drinks – packed with protein, nutritive supplements and nootropics, delicious, and ethical. This company has great standards and sources ingredients from communities that they try to help. However, it doesn’t have a fair trade certification, which might impact the farmer’s income. But we are here to talk about the flavor, are we not?
It’s solid – tasty, in that non-conventional way that you’d find in Whole Foods products. It has a clarity within the flavor, it’s not bogged down by heavy sugars or overly assertive flavors, but complimented by the coconut water. Coconut, I think, may be the best base for chocolate milk. It has a naturally sweet taste, full of electrolytes, and mixes very well with cocoa.
