Soylent creamy chocolate, Westside Market, NYC, July 11, 2022
Well, it’s not a misnomer. This is a certifiably creamy drink – which is atypical for legume protein isolates (like soy). The taste is smooth, and the flavor is full. This drink tastes like a a pick up truck weighs. Substantial. As a result, it’s quite good. I know this is meant to be a meal replacement drink, but I believe it’s a solid overall drink, casually or othwrwise. There’s a lot of questionable chemical names I lack the chemistry background to understand, but I’d like to learn more about it. 5 bonus points for the 20 grams of protein per serving. Oh, and kudos for only 1 gram of added sugar. I love when drinks prove that added sugar is unnecessary.
