Sproud

Sproud: a newcomer to the chocolate milk game. First impression: pretty solid. Smooth taste, not too sweet, a bit savory almost. Doesn’t feel heavy either. And, it has a flavorful taste. Between Sproud and Mylk, the main users of canola oil in their drinks, I’m growing an appreciation for its place in chocolate milk. Now, the added sugar is excessive in this, but the drink isn’t very sweet. They also use agave sugar, which is interesting. 

3 bonus points for being low water usage by using pea protein and non-gmo canola oil. 

I will get this drink again from time to time. It’s not my favorite, but it is solid.
