Hood Low Fat

Hood chocolate milk, Schmidt’s, Southampton, NY, July 2nd, 2022

This is a surprisingly good chocolate milk. I had a bit of trepidation, judging by the sugary looking labels. However, despite the 17 grams of added sugar per serving it actually blends with the flavor very well and it’s almost indistinguishably sugary. The creaminess is, well, superb. Overall, I am pleasantly surprised. I recall having hood before, but it wasn’t nearly this good. So, do I recommend it? Well, it has a lot of sugar, but this is a great casual drinking chocolate milk. Beyond that, it’s still dairy, which I try not to support financially, but if you don’t care, it’s good.
